Engineered hardwood flooring is the processed version a regular hardwood flooring made by binding together anywhere between two to twelve different layers of natural material. The processing helps in eliminating some of the barriers posed by natural hardwood flooring and making it sturdy and durable. These advancements made in the processing techniques are making the product more resilient and bringing down the cost. Engineered hardwood flooring is also considered to be comparatively more eco-friendly due to its limited use of natural wood.
